Tropicana Stadium
By Tampa Bay Rays Tickets Staff Writer D. Parker
The Tropicana stadium is the home of the Tampa Bay Rays, where they compete against teams in the American League East division.
TROPICANA STADIUM
The Tropicana Stadium is a domed stadium where the Tampa Bay Rays have played since the team was inaugurated in Major League Baseball in 1998. The stadium resides in St. Petersburg, Florida, and is the only stadium in history to host full season of pro baseball, football, hockey, and arena football.

The stadium is the only non-retractable stadium left in the MLB, but has great seating, amenities, concessions, and an onsite rays touch tank. The most recognizable architectural feature of the Rays stadium is the slanted roof. This was created to reduce energy costs and to protect the stadium during certain weather conditions.
INDOOR RESTAURANTS
The Tropicana Field houses two indoor restaurants: The Center Field Brewhouse and the Batter's Eye Restaurant. The Center Field Brewhouse is a sit-down restaurant with typical service and fare, while the Batter’s Eye Restaurant has a premium buffet with several traditional and contemporary dishes. The fans get to watch the game while enjoying amazing dishes provided by the restaurant, adding to their experience at the Rays game and the stadium.
